Guest House Tour

In designing and decorating our Guest House, we wanted to create a welcoming and casually elegant atmosphere. We want you to feel at home, but also pampered. If you are looking for a rustic cabin experience, this is not the place for you!

Great Room

The great room sits between the two master bedroom suites and offers a lovely central living area. With a corner wood burning fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and tall, vaulted ceilings; the great room is immediately warm and inviting. A wall of oversized glass doors and windows bring the beauty of the outdoors right into the room. Spend your evenings in front of a cozy fire watching satellite TV or choose a movie or book from the collection we keep available for our guests.

Kitchen

The Guest House kitchen is truly a delight. Graceful cherry wood cabinetry combined with rich granite countertops and stainless steel appliances create a cheerful space to make a hearty family breakfast or a romantic dinner for two. You will find everything you need to cook a delicious meal or prepare a fun picnic to go. You can dine at the bistro table in the adjoining dining nook or take your meal outdoors to the bistro table provided on the deck.

One delightful amenity in our Guest House kitchen is the tap water that comes from our deep well. Completely pure and untreated with chemicals, it is icy cold and fresh as a high mountain spring! Leave your bottled water at home!

Positioned just off the kitchen, we included a half-bath and a full-sized washer and dryer for added convenience.

Sunshine Bedroom & Bath

This bright and sunny master bedroom suite features country white furniture and spring floral bed linens. The pillow-top, queen-sized bed is enveloped in smooth, silky sheets and topped with soft pillows. The high tray ceiling and big windows add to the generous, open feeling that this large room provides. The adjoining private bath is fun and bright with an oversized tub/shower and stylish marble-topped vanity.

Shady Bedroom & Bath

This serene and peaceful master bedroom suite features a handmade, North Carolinian quilt and mission style wood furniture. The pillow-top, queen-sized bed will tempt you to sleep in late or just lay in bed listening to the rushing creek and early morning songbirds. The Shady bedroom also offers a high tray ceiling and generous windows. The luxurious adjoining private bath has a huge walk-in shower and a lovely, marble topped vanity.
